ShotTime

Privacy Policy

ShotTime is designed so that personal app data remains under the user's control.

Last updated October 17, 2026

Pre-release notice: ShotTime is currently in development. This policy will be reviewed and updated if its data practices change before release.

Overview

This policy explains how ShotTime, an application from Noctilo LLC, handles information. ShotTime does not include advertising trackers, sell personal information, or use app data for targeted advertising.

Information entered in ShotTime

Users may enter information needed to organize injection care, including patient names, medications, doses, schedules, injection sites, and injection history.

Caregivers may choose to enter information about people in their care. Noctilo does not receive that information through a Noctilo-operated backend.

Storage and iCloud

ShotTime stores app data using Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services. Data is associated with the user's iCloud account and is subject to Apple's security practices and terms.

If iCloud is unavailable, ShotTime can operate locally without syncing. Noctilo does not operate a separate server that receives ShotTime records.

Caregiver sharing

Users can choose to share records with invited caregivers through Apple's CloudKit sharing system. ShotTime does not share records unless a user initiates and manages that invitation.

Drug-name searches

When a user searches for a medication, ShotTime sends the entered search term to the U.S. National Library of Medicine's RxNorm API to return matching drug names. ShotTime does not intentionally include patient profiles or injection records in those requests.

The National Library of Medicine may process technical information, such as an IP address, under its own policies when the service is accessed.

Data access and deletion

Users can review, edit, and delete ShotTime records through the controls available in the app. Shared-record access can be changed or removed through the app's sharing controls.

Support communications

If you contact Noctilo for support, we receive the email address and information you choose to include. We use that information to respond and provide support. Please do not include medical records or other sensitive health information in a support email.

Security

ShotTime relies on Apple's platform and iCloud security controls. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but ShotTime is designed to minimize the information available to Noctilo.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as ShotTime develops or legal requirements change. The latest version will remain available at this URL with its revision date.
